Congratulations to Leslie Adent who was named new Deputy Fire Marshal of Southern Manatee Fire & Rescue

Recently Crews trained at Southeast High School. The building was scheduled to be torn down and was offered to the department to practice breaching walls.

Tuesday August 25, 2009. A vehicle took out the Fire Department Connection for the sprinkler system as well as the power pole on Tallevast Rd.

 Residents in the area were out of power for almost 12 hours as FPL repaired the pole and downed power lines. No major injuries were reported.

Three car accident at midnight. 1 patient was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
